The Eye of the Dragon 328 viewsLurking in the Heart Nebula is a Dragon's Head. The Heart Nebula is usually referred to as IC1805 but it should really be called Sh2-190 as IC1805 is actually only the open cluster at its centre. Radio sources within the nebula, associated with intense star formation (known as W3 & W4), have enabled its distance to be determined as 6500 light years. David R
