Philips webcam

Post by bchamberlain » Thu Apr 30, 2015 10:17 am

I tried the society's Philips webcam last night. Being new to this type of camera, I'm unsure of the settings. Both Jupiter and the moon were burnt out so I need to reduce the exposure. Also are both the serial and USB connectors used and which setting on the camera L or N?
Basic stuff but new territory for me Bill C

The Quick-Start Guide is in the Manuals & Guides section of our Members' Area:

For lunar & planetary imaging you should select the "N" (Normal) position, and only need to connect the webcam video USB lead (leave the LX-control lead disconnected).
