Last evening I enjoyed viewing Jupiter with a 10mm eyepiece that I got with my sky watcher but I felt the the viewing could of been improved with a better eyepiece.

So I was wondering does have anyone have any suggestions on a particular type or brand of eyepiece. I was thinking between 8 - 12mm, but could also do with eye relief.

I choose to image with an 11" SCT Celestron in this decade and do the other things, not because they are easy, but because they are hard......

Hi Carl,
I don't think you could go far wrong with the Baader Classic Ortho, these are an update of the very popular Baader Genuine Orthos. I personally use a BGO 9mm for planetary viewing with my C8.

I would suggest that you go for the 10mm. There is a good review of the EP here:-http://www.firstlightoptics.com/blog/baader-classic-ortho-plossl-review.html

They might be a bit tight on eye relief for you as the 10mm would opnly have approx 8mm.

Ian
