Does anyone know whether this game pad can be converted to USB for use with EQMOD?

I wouldn't bother. You will find that pad is geared up for the XBOX and you will spend more time trying to get it to work with the PC let alone with EQMod.

This is what I use, and for £4 it saves a lot of hassle

By default EQMod will use a standard pad and button layout similar to this, you'll just need to make a few adjustments.
Celestron 11" Telescope
Eq6 Pro Mount
Eq5 Mount
EQ Mod
QHY5 Guide camera
Cannon 1000D SLR Camera

I choose to image with an 11" SCT Celestron in this decade and do the other things, not because they are easy, but because they are hard......

Thanks for the advice. For less than a fiver, I've gone for the alternative pad. Bill
