At last got to see Jupiter with the Aldi little scope. Needed 40x to make out 2 belts but they were there! Nice view with 4 moons all visible.
Pointing was tricky as the mount slides about on a smooth table top. Need to think about that - probably needs rubber feet.
Popped the lifecam in as well.

I reckon Aldi gonna be busy in morning ! Next weeks special is a mini observatory, isle 3 :D

After some updates to the Aldi Little Telescope (ALT) ie rubber feet and ptfe for the azimuth bearings I returned to webcaming Jupiter. It doesn't slide about on the table now!
If you squint a bit there is a hint of belt(s) on Jupiter
