Came across this today. The link below shows the cloud cover for the UK

But unlike the above link the infrared version (night time viewing) will only show Europe

Unlike the orbiting NOAA weather satellites which myself and Ross have tuned into these images are taken with stationery satellites. You have to press the play button in the bottom left corner to allow it to play.

Yes, that is a really good website. I have used it for a while. It really lets you see how cloud and fronts are likely to develop for your paticular location.

Another good one is StormSurf. It lets you see where the jetstream is. This is what affects the "seeing".
