ISS transit it this evening (Sunday 3-Jul)

The prediction program has foretold a pass by the ISS in front of the new crescent Moon, which can be seen from the corridor shown below:

Don't blink or you'll miss it: the transit takes less than one second!
But even if you're not on the transit line, you should still see the sunlit Space Station whizz past the Moon.

Missed it! :(
The thin crescent Moon was surprisingly difficult to find in a bright sky (even with 7x50 binoculars), so I'd not left myself enough time after dinner to set up.

But there may be a Solar transit next weekend (watch this space)...

I tried the same thing last night and couldnt find the moon at all !!! anywhere !!! I guessed that it would be a very thin crescent and gave up in the end ......
