DSLR sensor care

Post by bchamberlain » Thu Jan 01, 2015 9:25 pm

Advice I've had regarding the use of an unfiltered blower brush on the DSLR sensor

Never use regular bulb blower. We recommend zeeion.
We have had many cameras for astrophotography that the sensor looked like moon craters. Because the projectile from regular blower will cut the surface. Zeeion has two filters in front and back.
Thanks

Bill,
I wouldn't go near the sensor. The Canon sensor cleaner should be all you need. Clip filters are a great dust seal as well. Any dust halos probably come from the filter and most of these have ultra hard coatings.
