Dave,
Never tried vega - I would recommend IRIS:

It does much much more than just capture webcam videos - in fact it does virtually everything!

Dave,

I suggest that you try downloading it again - I've just downloaded it successfully and installed it on this XP machine.
I could email you the original .ZIP file, but it's around 1Mbyte.

As David points out, IRIS is a much newer and sophisticated program, but I've been using Vega for eight years now, running it on a battered old WinME laptop which I don't mind getting cold and dewed-up when I use it outside!

Ross.

I was wondering if you can tell me what browsers you are using.

I've discovered that the file downloads and opens ok using Firefox, yet the file becomes corrupt when downloading using IE8.

Any feedback would be appriciated!
Celestron 11" Telescope
Eq6 Pro Mount
Eq5 Mount
EQ Mod
QHY5 Guide camera
Cannon 1000D SLR Camera

I choose to image with an 11" SCT Celestron in this decade and do the other things, not because they are easy, but because they are hard......
