Sadly I won't be able to join you tomorrow, but if we get some clear sky down here in sunny Wales I shall leave my solar tracker running:

I've made a Baader AstroSolar filter to go over the front of my Pentax 200mm lens, and will set the timer to take a snapshot every three minutes.
Then I'll be able to make a time-lapse video of as much of the event as the clouds allow...

Same here, I've been asked if I can do a live broadcast so some schools in Bedfordshire can look in,as a another broadcaster as set up a new site in the UK and needs some broadcasters.
So i'm taking a gamble if a can view from home as I need a internet connection and I'm setting it up on my garage roof.
If anyone isn't observing you can catch my broadcast here

and this is the view from the garage roof, just hope it clear's next doors

Very successful morning at Bolton School. We managed to follow the eclipse from 8:35 through to about 10:15 with some great views. Look at that blue sky!
Thanks to Bolton School, Brendan and Louise and all those who brought telescopes.
Many students were able to grab some great pictures through our scopes using their tablets/ipads.
See you all again in 2026

I choose to image with an 11" SCT Celestron in this decade and do the other things, not because they are easy, but because they are hard......

Picture from Bill Chamberlain taken with his phone held to the eyepiece of one of our scopes. Proof we did see it!

If anybody has more pictures of us at Bolton School today can you please let me have copies. I don't need full resolution- around 1024 x 768 is plenty. Thanks
