Astronomer Mark Thompson from BBC's Stargazing Live will appear at Manchester Science Festival this Saturday.

This event is all about stargazing and the wonders of the night sky, including top tips on observational techniques. We hope it'll be an inspirational evening for anyone who's wondered at distant stars. And Mark's great - he's been on The One Show, This Morning, The Alan Titchmarsh Show and even Celebrity Mastermind!

Here is a link to the event. It takes place at the International Anthony Burgess Foundation on Sat 1st November at 6.30pm.
