Liverpool John Moores University are pleased to announce our annual Merseyside Astronomy Day (MAD) will be on Saturday 26th April 2014 at the John Lennon Art and Design Building, Duckinfield Street (Off Brownlow Hill) Liverpool L3 5RD.
The MAD is a chance to hear about the cutting-edge research being done by some of the world's leading astrophysicists. Speakers from Universities around the UK will give 4 talks throughout the day and will make up a panel of experts ready to answer your questions.
The Merseyside Astronomy Day is most suitable for adults and over 12s, doors open 10.30am.
The on-site cafe will be open for lunch, but you are welcome to bring your own food. We are also conveniently located near to a number of sandwich shops and cafes. There will also be a range of stands and hands-on activities for you to explore during the breaks.
