Comet 32P/Comas Sola

#1 Post by ladam » Wed Feb 18, 2015 9:18 am

I just managed to image this comet using Telescope T21 in New Mexico which became available. It is very faint at Magnitude 14.32 and the sky condition was poor. A 300 second exposure at 07:42 Leyland time.

I then took a 600 second image at 08:16 Leyland time - i.e. just over half an hour later. You can see the movement of the comet and a bit of a tail because of the longer exposure.
