Comet C/2009 R1 McNaught

#1 Post by rwilkinson » Sat Jun 05, 2010 7:37 am

Around midnight in early June there's an opportunity to see yet another comet discovered by the prolific Rob McNaught (of Siding Spring observatory).
This one should be around magnitude 6, but it's very low down in the Northern sky, only popping above our horizon for a couple of hours.

It's current location is shown on Heavens Above: ... =76&tz=GMT
