Lunar Eclipse - June 15

#1 Post by AWalmsley » Mon Jun 13, 2011 7:31 pm

Apparently, there will be a total lunar eclipse this Wednesday. Unfortunately, the moon will be very low in the sky and the eclipse will already have started by the time the moon rises.

Yes Antony, that's correct.
You'll need a very good view to the SE, as the Moon will only be 2 or 3 degrees above the horizon, soon after 10pm.

It may have been cloudy last night but you can relive the eclipse on the Google homepage for a limited time.
