Hi Thanks for the reply. Not fitted with a motor and would cost too much to add one. From what i'm finding out it looks like I will end up getting one for portablity and one for use at home or local viewing, so it looks like the Sky-Watcher Skymax-102 SynScan AZ GOTO for the caravan and Sky-Watcher ...

Did not get much chance to speak last night

Sound OK then,
He is asking £200 for the Scope and Mount only been used a few times, I'm presumning as it's a coated lens it's not a achromatic refractor lens

It does look a bit unstable, but having no experence I thought it was worth posting, as you say at the right price might be ok

Celestron C4-R Telescope

Hi all

Has anyone had any experence of a Celestron C4-R Refactor, looks like it's a few years old and not sure if the lense being multi coated is any good

Basic spec
Aperture 102mm
Focal lenght 1000mm
Focal ration 9.8
Mount CG-4 Equatorial

Hello Like the last few posts I'm also new the the Society, Only managed 2 meetings. I'm originally from the Midlands and moved up to Horwich about 6 years ago. I have a number of active hobbies, Astronomy, Photography, Ham Radio (G4CFP) Computing and not linked to any of the above Ballroom Dancing ...
