Cheers Bill, I'm always looking for ways to improve my image processing, Ross very kindly did some work on my image of NGC457 and sent me the walk through he used in IRIS. I had a go and got very good results.

Well we made it.... Many thanks to Keith (80 triplet), Cheryl (130P) and Ross (Image Intensifier) for supporting the event, I used the C6 and the 100P. Hi All Sorry for the short notice as we have struggled with the weather and I have just agreed with the School that we will support the Star Party tonight (Friday 2/2/2018) as it liiks like we might just get some breaks in the clouds. Hi All St Andrews Primary School have contacted me again in view of setting up a Star Party. I have agreed that we would start with Friday 2nd Feb and see how we get on and like last year roll it over to the following Friday if the weather lets us down. I have agreed with the School to cancel the Star Party and revisit it again in the New Year.
